For some reason on this title, for the first time out of 19 books, they butchered the casting. They kept casting women to voice male characters which was really confusing in a lot of scenes. You've got 2-3 women talking and occasionally the narrator says "he/him/Dave/whatever the f**k" and it really takes you out of the story.

Casting is very distracting.

Yes there are two characters that are referenced as men but are voiced by women. it's really not that confusing, and xenon's VA is okay at the role. The story manages to develop an interesting cast of characters with satisfying conclusions within a relatively short time frame. I put this close to Rose princess.

One of the best one parters

The have several male characters voiced by females, its distracting and confusing. The story itself is good. This could have been a great one.
