If you liked the first book, you'll enjoy this one as well. picks up where it left off and keeps a solid pace throughout. Narration was fantastic as before, I'm really enjoying this series.

This book is an epic free fall of a novel

This book felt like a roller coaster with only steep drops. I enjoyed it so much I even purchased a mercenary management game. Writing is easy says the MC, just write stuff.

Must Read!!

This book kept me on the edge of my (car) seat fiending for more. The voice acting is fantastic!

Awesome 2nd Installment to the Series!

This book continues the story started in Arena Manager. This is book 2 and there will be at least 1 more book. *Warning* This book has light harem elements. While there are no sex scenes, it is made clear that the MC has multiple partners. It is certainly not the focus of the book. With that out of the way, lets get to the rest of the review!
First, the basics. This book does a great job of balancing the LitRPG aspect by keeping you up to speed with levels and status, but doesn't falsely inflate page counts by needlessly repeating the same facts. The writing is solid and well executed. The information is packed pretty densely and I found that there were times I had to stop and think about what I just read/heard to catch up to the intuitive leaps made by the author. Especially in scripted interactions between the MC and a new character. There were a few editing errors, but not enough to detract from the story. The story length could have been longer at 9hrs 42min.
Now to the story itself. No spoilers here. Overall this book works nicely in continuing the development of Frank himself and Team Zeppelin. There is a natural progression away from the arena and more toward managing a mercenary team. There are both successes and setbacks and both are believable. There are also a couple curveballs that I didn't expect. I am left looking forward to reading the next book.
Finally, the narration itself.(this part does not reflect on the author) The narration is a combination of 2 narrators. The main narrator is a male which is fitting since the MC is male. The 2nd narrator is female, but her contribution is very small, probably less than 2%. The narrators do give each character their own voice/accent, but some of them are not as pleasant to listen to. I didn't notice any background noise or distractions. This narrator does not have much work on Audible yet and I would assume he'll improve over time. His voice is pleasant enough to not take away from the book.

the story just gets better and more in depth I love the development of the characters and world. makes me ready for book 3!

Another epic story

if you loved book 1 your gonna go head over for this one. the ending throws u on ur head.
over all the mc has some nice growth and even develops more as a person and fills his role nicely. the humor is probably the best reason to buy this book.

Getting better

Improvement over first book. Feeling more into the story development. Going to buy third installment, I want to know what happens next.

Yeah, you could say I liked it!

This was a lot of fun to listen to. Especially after the excellent first book. Let's just say I didn't mind being stuck in rush hour traffic. I had a story that kept me up, made cooking, cleaning (even the bathroom) fly by and was a constant companion while doing yard work. 'Yeah, you could say that I enjoyed this book...a lot!
