I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I listened to this book as it's not my usual genre. It was interesting but it just felt like Elektra was being abused all the time even if she thought she enjoyed it. This book was okay but I definitely didn't love it.

Marquise de Sade style pain and humiliation

There are many erotica parts, but not being a sadist or masochist, the extreme levels of abuse in the story line did little for me. That said the story was very well written and I would love to read a book with a similar plot and a slightly less depraved protagonist.

Amazingly detailed story

Sometimes memories can become vague and hazy this telling of a memoir as remembered by an elderly and intellectually cognitive lady is rife with detailed descriptions that are presented better than most I have heard. Cudos to the author Billierosie, and the narrator sweetly sensual_Sara on delivery.

An unexpected love story of sorts...

For me this was the story of a willing sex addict, who fell in love with her "master". I love the way the story transcends between normal and taboo. An unexpected love story for sure. The story captured and held my attention throughout.

A Beautiful Perspective

This is a listen you might not be prepared for but will most definitely keep you listening. being aware that there are other views of intimacy and how long terms relationships might not be as traditional as thought is eye opening. Highly recommend
