Facing pressure from government figures, the military arranges an operation to lure the creatures away. In the process, they trigger the wrath of the Kraken. Intelligent, vehement, and incredibly powerful, it seeks to claim the territory for itself, and kill anything and anyone that dares to challenge it.

With the body count rising, Denise and Nico have no choice but to conduct a strategy of their own: lure the 120-foot megalodon to the Kraken and allow nature to take its course.

One outcome is certain—there will be bloodshed.

Horrible narrator

I really enjoyed the first book and assumed this one would be the same. I should have previewed the second book before using up a credit as the narrator in this book is so awful I couldn’t pay attention to the story.

Excellent story bad narrator

I love Michael Cole’s books. This sequel is excellent. The only problem I have is with the narrator. The narrator for book 2 is not on the same level as book 1. The narrator is frankly trouble and ruins the story. You are better off listening to virtual voice on kindle book. I only keep audio because I had an extra credit.

Captivating

The book is excellent and I love the story, the narrator however is very irritating. He sounds overly dramatic and distracts from the story. Wish they would’ve gotten the narrator from the first book. If the book wasn’t so interesting I would’ve turned it off.

Listening enjoyment

It is very well written. More stories of the core group. The y are great

good story terrible narrator!!

Fun story but I almost turned it off so many times because the narrator voices are unbearable, he mispronounced multiple words. Even the way he says chapters is painful.
