With the body count rising, Denise and Nico have no choice but to conduct a strategy of their own: lure the 120-foot megalodon to the Kraken and allow nature to take its course.

One outcome is certain—there will be bloodshed.

Horrible narrator

I really enjoyed the first book and assumed this one would be the same. I should have previewed the second book before using up a credit as the narrator in this book is so awful I couldn’t pay attention to the story.

Excellent story bad narrator

I love Michael Cole’s books. This sequel is excellent. The only problem I have is with the narrator. The narrator for book 2 is not on the same level as book 1. The narrator is frankly trouble and ruins the story. You are better off listening to virtual voice on kindle book. I only keep audio because I had an extra credit.

Captivating

The book is excellent and I love the story, the narrator however is very irritating. He sounds overly dramatic and distracts from the story. Wish they would’ve gotten the narrator from the first book. If the book wasn’t so interesting I would’ve turned it off.

Listening enjoyment

Fun story but I almost turned it off so many times because the narrator voices are unbearable, he mispronounced multiple words. Even the way he says chapters is painful.

Horrible Narration! Just Read the Book!

I was really hoping this 2nd book would have the same narrator as the first book. This guy sounded like he was trying too hard. It was very annoying to listen to and I advise just reading the book instead.

Worst narrator EVER!

I loved the first book and narration. This narrator was so terrible it made listening very difficult. There isnt one thing good I can say about him. The book itself is fantastic and a great sequel. I'm just sad I wasted a credit on something I will Never listen to again. I don't know the process of finding narrators for books but this guy needs to find another job.

Terrible narration

Cole writes amazingly fun stories. I love his library of work.

The narrator chosen completely distracts from that. He reads it like it’s a comedy, or like a frat boy playing with action figures. It made it so frustratingly hard to listen. I had to take breaks from it. The character work is terrible. He has great tone and reads beautifully, but was the wrong choice for the material or just didn’t take the material seriously. It drips with “too cool for this story”. Apologies, but you’re better off buying a copy and reading it yourself.

Absolute garbage narrator

The story is fine. The problem is the narrator. He is awful (not Khai Lannor level awful, but still bottom of the barrel). It's like the narrator had complete contempt for the material and intentionally tried to make it suck
