Fantastic story and characters as always!!
the only thing about the audiobook that bothered me was the male narrator Teddy Hamilton, he never changed his voice, never change his inflection. It was a monotone read all the way through and it took away from a lot of the nuance of the male lead. He never felt like he had any emotion and with the male lead already being closed off it just took away so much. This has never been a problem with Ali Hazelwood’s MMC’s because the other narrators were able to showcase Teddy Hamilton can’t or at least he didn’t do it this time.
Other than that, there were a few parts that made me cringe, and some conversations felt as if they were made to make a light of a very serious situations but other than that, it was an amazing read like always thank you Ali Hazelwood for being a master class of romance writing!

Ali once again weaves a masterfully captivating tale filled with chemistry and charm. The storyline draws us in with the taste of unrequited love and only once we think we understand does she throw the next thing at us. You will love the characters' witty banter and Ali’s gentle nods to real life anecdotes. Ali has an incredible ability to infuse each scene with palpable tension and emotion locking us readers in for the ride as we dive through past traumas and finally cannonball into the heart of the characters' love and passion. This book is a masterpiece but of course it is, Ali is a true visionary. 💚

Y’all…she did it again.

I don’t know how she managed, but it’s so good. If you liked Bride, you’ll love this. Can you see the signs for what’s happening? Yes. Does it make it any less enjoyable? No. The spice is there along with the yearning, which allows the plot to progress naturally. It doesn’t feel rushed, but it does move forward quickly. The narrators did a killer job and I already wish there was more.

On the edge of my seat…

I have been waiting for this book for so long and it did not disappoint!! Bride has become such a comfort listen for me that I was slightly worried that I wouldn’t find the same kind of joy in this book but dare say I might love this one even more. The narration & audio production, perfection. Brava!! The story, captivating. The tension, delicious. Any book that makes me talk/shout/squeal aloud multiple times is such fun. Probably why I unashamedly finished this one in one day! Ali, you will always be a must read for me 💕 Congratulations on this series. Hope you are celebrating. You

ALI HAZELWOOD IS THE GIFT THAT KEEPS GIVING

The perfect sequel to Mate while still being original and build on the established world.

The male narrator is a little monotone.

I’m a huge Ali Hazelwood fan. And Bride is one of my favorites so I couldn’t wait to listen to this! The storyline is just ok. And I didn’t really feel the chemistry from the two main characters but I think it’s because the male narrator just seemed a bit lackluster. It made the passionate scenes fall flat, imo.

INCREDIBLE

The tension, steam and spicy is INCREDIBLE in this werewolf romance book and the narrators elevated the story to make it even more amazing! I couldn't get enough of it. I craved it. Inhaled it. Devoured it.

This was great!!
I was eagerly waiting for this to come out and I can happily say it did not disappoint :) The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing the characters and story to life in a way that made me unable to stop listening for even a moment. So I want to say a big thank you to Ali for writing this fantastic story that made me feel all the feels and had me laughing out loud, truly a great second book in this series.
