A Guide to Women to Even a Married Man Can Use

This audiobook is not something I picked up because I’m out dating but because I’ve been married for 20 years. I was searching for something to help me understand the struggles my much younger (LOL) single friends and my brother kept running into in today's dating circles. Plus, I figured it could help add more sparks to my own marriage. But honestly, I was a little curious about what things were like today, what these “hard truths” are, and what people were saying about women and relationships today. Plus, I have a few daughters and I wanted an unbiasis opinion on how today's men think.

What I found inside this book was a breakdown of patterns I’ve watched others fall into for years - hell even myself! The parts about attraction fading if you don’t keep respect is absolutely truth. 20 years in and you need something stronger than just physical attraction. Plus, it reminded me not to get lazy. After two decades, it’s easy to slip into comfort and forget that your wife still needs to feel desired, respected, and valued - to FEEL LOVED!

Some of the ideas were blunt and a little uncomfortable (again thinking about my daughters), but they made me think about how I show up as a husband and father. For me personally, I started being more intentional about small things. Like texting my wife with purpose instead of out of habit, or planning little surprises instead of assuming she “knows” I love her. These shifts have added fresh energy.

My advice for other guys: don’t take everything in this audiobook as gospel, but do take it as a mirror. If you’re married like me, use it as a reminder that respect, communication, and confidence matter just as much in year 20 as they did in year one. If you’re single, this might save you from years of frustration. If you have daughters, well you know which guys to push away if and when they come around. This audiobook is solid! It pushed me to be a better husband and gave me tools to share with the guys in my life who need to hear it.

His awareness of the woman's perspective on the subject was obviously a voice of experience. It was enlightening and entertaining.
