Beginnings of adventure

This is a amazing beginning to a series I intend to follow to the end. I loved the overall view we get of the characters, its a different and refreshing take on character perspective. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who will listen.

great book

Finally!!! a system based book that doesn't involve a singular MC, an over powered character, an apocalypse of some kind, or any other hero complex, or world halting disaster. we get a fresh take on it. with a group of scientists, who have a healthy amount of scepticism and paranoia about an unknown factor. they assimilate, they test each other, make sure the thing isn't dangerous, then they test their new abilities instead of just rushing head long into the abyss. I loved it. I need book 2 please.

I love the idea that there is an old game-like system on Mars. most of this book feels like set up but there are some wonderful and fun moments!

The narrators did such a good job here! I didn't think I was going to like a duo but they nailed it.

The good mix of Tech and myth

This book has a good mix of Tech and Myth bouncing both out in a way that allows us to understand the basic principle against societies interacting with and with other societies going through different branches can't seem so they are using magic it integrates North mythology into a modern day worldAs well as what would happen if to opposing sidis 2 opposing sides wearing a secret warFor the very survival of the human race and how that would look

Great story

I enjoyed the story . I hope there is going to be a book 2 sometime before to long

slow start, but after that it gets better.
I enjoyed the story and the narration. if there's another book to continue the story I'll probably get it

Fun book!!!

Great book. Love the characters and the progression. No sex, which is okay by me. I recommend anything from this author. The female voice actor was phenomenal. The male voice actor was over the top cheese. But once I got over the male performance I was able to enjoy the book.

Where is the next one?

I gobbled this book up. I can’t wait for the next one. It is a unique take on the system and lit rpg style of books

Slow start, finish strong

The start was very slow and was hard to connect with the characters. After the first few hours finally picked up with things happening. Interesting mix of sci-fi / magic. Worth the credit
