What do alien gods want with a human woman?

Babette doesn’t know why, but she’s drawn to the advertisement she sees about the Alliance Empire requesting human women. Her friends think she has lost her mind, but she feels compelled to apply at their embassy in Paris to become an Alliance man’s bride and live on the other side of the galaxy.

Follow Babette as one of the 1,000 human women brought over by Admiral Tir just following Captain Kara Rainer’s trial. Although you can jump in the Renascence Alliance Series at any time, it’s recommended you read either Married to the Alien Admiral, Renascence Book 1 or Married to the Alien Doctor, Renascence Book 2, before reading Married to the Alien with No House.

This was a really delightful Book 3 in the series, and I had such a great time with it! The premise is so fun — what exactly do powerful alien gods want with a human woman? Babette doesn’t know, but she’s irresistibly drawn to the mysterious call for human brides, even if her friends think she’s completely lost it. Her decision to answer the Alliance Empire’s advertisement and apply at their Paris embassy sets her on a bold, romantic, and otherworldly journey across the galaxy.

I loved Babette’s curiosity and courage, and watching her step into the unknown made this story so compelling. The narrator did a very good job bringing the world and characters to life, making the listen both engaging and immersive. A wonderful continuation of the series — definitely worth picking up if you enjoy romantic adventure among the stars!

Seriously? I really like this series so far……Except…..I’m not OK with fat shaming. The author has previously discussed the alien ideal, which is sadly like the US ideal. She could have continued her current storyline without further elaboration going into public fat shaming and just explained it with bland food pre ordained portions, exercise and previous poor nutrition.

Fat shaming???? Unnecessary! Shame on you!

As for the first couple of books for this series I enjoyed the details and lore of all of this, but MAN did it swing in a different direction right towards the end! So she just became a completely different person ? Jade and her won't meet in the same way ever again? A lot of build up and some charartization to be told "nope she's a gods wife now" I loved the book but I was like "ok then..." at the end

The story towards the end!

I really enjoyed this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Babette and Mir. I thought they made a great match, and built up and elevated something in each other. I was especially drawn to Mir, and neither quite belonged. I also enjoyed learning about the alien culture in this book. I always find it fascinating.

I listened to this book narrated by Janet King. I thought she did a great job bringing these characters and this world to life.

Can I just say how much I dislike Jane like she gets on my last nerve! I agree with her on the punishment thing but everything else I wanted to slap her. Like she just couldn’t let some shit go! She just wouldn’t listen.
Baps is a sweet person that just wanted to feel loved and accepted. Everyone wants this. She did what she felt was right.
I am enjoying the way the plot for the whole series is twisting and turning.
Narration was good.

Good
