Brilliant! On point! Wow!

I love all John Boyne’s book, but this exceeds my expectations of him. It’s the first good book I’ve heard that is post pandemic. It addresses what it really means to be woke in a hilarious fashion. Bravo John Boyne! You did it again!

Wonderful

Some books have to be narrated and this is one of them. Richard E. Grant is marvellous in this extremely clever, witty book!
There are many laugh out loud moments in this
satirical look at the society we live in today! Very well done!

Laugh out loud funny

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was very funny and entertaining. I love the author’s other books. This one wasn’t terribly serious but had a strong message about social media.

Funniest book I ever listened to

I was laughing so hard while driving I thought I might have to pull over a couple of times. The narration is amazing this is one of the first books I have ever thought to be better on audio than it would be to read.

Great social satire. The characters are hilarious.

The ending seemed a little abrupt but overall I really enjoyed the story. I feel like I know people that are like most of these characters.

Laugh out loud funny

I loved this book. Such a ridiculously screwed up family that finally figures out what life is all about! So good!!!

A brilliantly funny and wonderfully observed book!

What a great book! I laughed out loud so many times and what was so interesting was that what was often funny was the absolute truth of the crazy situation we are in! Really brilliant - and fantastically read by the wonderful REG. it is also pretty funny to see all the negative reviews here as they are EXACTLY the type of bigoted people being portrayed in the book! Loved it! He is a wonderful author - both profoundly touching and insightful and also incredibly humorous.

Outrageous, pithy and redemptive tale

The characters were outrageous and I disliked them ALL. But in the end, it came through vividly as a cautionary tale for our "platformed lives" and the characters were mercifully each given a second chance that each was making the best of.

Very clever satire. Laughed out loud every few mins. Narration was top tier. Definitely recommend!

Excellent story!

My favorite by the Author so far. Laugh out loud funny. I did not want it to end. Fabulous narration!! Miss the characters already.
