An Awesome Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it inspiring. In the third book of this series, Lexie is caught up in the domino effect of a friend's sister death. Lexie has worked hard to get her life back into order for her daughter and herself after her divorce. It's not been easy but now everything is going wrong. With the help of her friends' not so gentle pushing, Lexie takes some risks for the first time. The characters in this series have been so well written, it's hard to believe that they get better with each book. The story feels so real, everyone has been to that point at some time in life. The author has a special talent to create characters and stories that feel real and the narrator brings every story to life. Looking forward to April.

Friends and Family

This will be a 12 short book series in 3rd book March is about Lexi a divorcee sharing custody of her daughter Vicky. She went through a lot of hard times with drug addiction, finding a job, going to school, eviction, and car and dying but she still fought. You have to listen to find out what happens. All of the characters are likable and real, Mika is still the troubled child and worry about her. Narration was great only complaint was too short but looking forward to next one to find out more of Destiny, Dario, Lexi, Vickie, Mattie, Henry, Rosie and many more. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. THANK YOU

March: The Year of Discovery, Book 3

Continuing on with the year of discovery, this is Lexie’s story.

Facing many hardships, including the possible loss of custody of her daughter, Lexie has hit rock bottom. She can either give up, or fight for what she wants...

Another fantastic collaboration with M.L. Hamilton’s writing and Kelley Hazen’s narration! I’m so looking forward to seeing what’s to come in April.

Great Book

March: The Year of Discovery, Book Three was a great book by M.L. Hamilton. Lexie had everything that she thought she wanted; a husband , daughter and what looked like a great future. Unfortunately when her appendix burst she would up battling a prescription drug habit. Now she is trying to piece her life back together and get custody back of her daughter. I really enjoyed reading Lexie's story as it is one that many people can relate to. I can't wait to read more of The Year of Discovery Series.

Powerful!

ML Hamilton really impresses me with the way she writes. I love how the message was conveyed in this book. The storyline is realistic. Lexie stole my heart in this book, with how self-sacrificing she was towards her daughter. She overcame so many obstacles, and had the perseverance to become the best she could be. Kelley Hazen was impressive with her performance. I could hear exactly who was speaking, and the emotions were so real. This listen is both a standalone and part of a series. So far, its my favorite of The Year of Discovery. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

wow

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

As with the first 2 books, this is a well narrated and interesting listen. This one hit a bit close to home for me, though. I don't say that as a bad thing, just that it reminded me of growing up with a mother addicted to drugs, both prescribed and not. This book really evoked a strong emotional reaction from me. That was unexpected and I found I struggled to finish the book because of it. Again, I don't say that as a criticism, rather a description of my experience. In fact, it takes a rare talen to be able to tell a story that can bring emotions to the surface like that.
