Isaac is back, and the sects are going to war. Leadership puts him in leading from behind a desk and negotiating deals with the Hua Family. That is, till another sect's mountain falls, and Isaac hurries to investigate. He takes Mei to investigate the fallen mountain. But even Mei isn't enough to stop what the fallen mountain brings.

The corrupt mages' endgame has come, can the rest of the sects band together to stop them?

It keeps being interesting. I'm blazing through this series at the moment so if you like the genre I can only tell you to give this one a chance.

this is the second series that I've enjoyed from this author. The first one was Dao which is fantastic but at the time of this review is only available in e-book form. I love the work that this narration team does and will hope that they'll be the voice of this author's stories going forward. As for this series as you might have noticed the author appears to prefer doing trilogies and this is the ending of the first Trilogy for Isaac. well I did enjoy the ending of the story it felt more like the ending of an arc then the ending of a series. So I greatly appreciate the author doing a second trilogy for Isaac. I don't expect there to be a third trilogy especially with one of the statements the author made at the end of the e-book version. I agree with him then I do like stories to have an ending and not go ad infinitum simply because it's making money or successful in another way. As of the time of this review the s Trilogy has started with the first book being available as an e-book only. I'm going to go ahead can check that out now. last week really well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing the story to life.

very well done

this story moves along quickly, jumps right into some larger story arc that unfolds as we continue deeper into the book. interesting premise but a little tough to make connections sometimes but it's worth it if you like the genre

story jumps right in

I’ve listened and read all 3 books, and I enjoyed the ending. I feel like the author could definitely continue the story.

Very great book!

This was another great sequel, I'm jumping right into 4! I can't wait to see how this story progresses. Book 3 was a surprise, I love where this story seems to be heading. this book was very enjoyable, I for sure recommend it.

The Narration is good as always, hazel and christian have been doing good ever since I've started this series, I can't wait to hear more of them!.

Alot of stuff just got better, i love the characters and the plot. I feel a better connection with the characters, they for sure have more depth to them. I also like how the plot is progressing. I honestly just wish the mc would learn more techniques/abilities. I also like the character development in this book, the mc really grew as a person and as a leader.

I really liked this sequel, and I think alot of other people will also!.

another great sequel!
