A must for developers

This book is incredibly valuable if you're one of the following.
You're a non-developer and need an insight into what it's all about.
A new developer trying to learn as much from knowledge before you have to learn it from failure. A veteran who wants a great refresh or an alternative approach to development.

I believe John is the best author and speaker on this subject that I've encountered. One key reason why is that he has this unusual ability to be extremely successful in his field, and yet offers practical useful advice to even new developers.

As a novice developer and rental property investor myself, it truly is hard to find someone who is both experienced enough to have a wealth of knowledge, but still be down to earth to remember what it was like to not have millions of dollars to fund deals.

The perfect Book for the determine beginner.

This book is helpful in breaking down the things beginners like me may be embarrassed to ask. It’s also full of wisdom I’ll be using throughout my development journey . John lends us this wisdom humbly, honestly and without bias and ego in his own voice which is easy to listen to and well articulated.

Hard lessons learned with a net.

A wonderfully clear real-world view of real estate investor or developer. Essential for the less experienced and overly optimistic.

Great Book! A must buy for everyone...

John like all your lectures and your book, you continue to speak truth and words of wisdom. I am proud to say that I consider your teachings and the information you share to be unmatched and truly consider you a mentor of my foundational experience in Real Estate Development.

I have been in Real Estate for a long while and like John, I come from a legal background, so we sometimes see things differently from non-attorney real estate professionals. (All Lawyers are Not Deal Busters by the way.) John has a gift of seeing how deals work and how they are put together and he demonstrates this in his book.

John's book is a must read for all Real Estate professionals who want to gain insight on how different players in the industry operate and think when it comes to Development deals and even basic negotiations.

Great Read and Great Job! Can't wait for a follow-up on this book John, No Pressure!

Excellent

This should be required reading for anyone interested in commercial real estate and the practical operation of retail shopping centers. John has managed to make an otherwise dull topic interesting and informative. Excellent book!
