Valuable resource for music teachers and parents of musicians

Great content, great delivery, lots of good “bonus” information too, when the author/reader goes off script. I wish the audio editing had been smoother between sections. Otherwise, no complaints. I definitely recommend buying a hard copy of the book, too, for easy reference back to concepts. There is a lot of information to digest, but the author makes it very accessible.

I have been teaching privately for two years and am stepping into teaching in a private school for the first time! I have always felt like basic psychology and music goes together in ensuring the student is seen and feeling empowered to push through and be the nest they can be. To see how Allison beautifully crafted this book into my heart was just a God sent!

Many times have I said "Wow" or "Mmmm" or "OUCH" to this book haha! I love her story telling and you get amazing nuggets that aren't in the book! I will recommend EVERY music teacher I know to this book! I'd give 10 stars if they had it!!!
