International number one best-selling author Trudi Canavan returns with the final novel in the Millennium's Rule series - her most powerful and thrilling adventure yet.

Rielle is now the Maker, restorer of worlds. She has lost count of the number of worlds she has been sent to save.

Tyen has cast off his old identity. No longer a spy, he now attempts to teach new sorcerers and find ways to counteract the war machines that are spreading throughout the worlds.

But when an old enemy brings news of something worse than magically dead worlds and dangerous sorcerers – a threat unlike anything the worlds have faced before – Rielle and Tyen must reunite if they are to have any chance of saving humanity.

This is the first (thankfully!) audiobook that had numerous repeat passages and a segment where the performer chuckled at her mixing up of accents. A distractingly nuisance. Storyline continued from previous book was entertaining enough though.

I found Makers Curse to be very satisfying, and I love how the lore and world was expanded through this fourth installment of millenniums rule!

Satisfying listen!

Loved the story as usual with any of Trudi Canavans books, but quite a few editing/recording mistakes happening throughout the book where they repeated the sentence or even the paragraph after making a mistake

Great book - mistakes in recording

As with the other books in the Millenium's Rule series, Maker's Curse is a captivating tale that through continuous shifts of narrator (lead character) explores the plots and storyline far more fully than with a single narrator.

I do wish the narrators would have paid a little more attention to pronouncing the names of characters uniformly - and that the recording studio would have spent more time cleaning up the recording. Several times there are bigger or smaller overlaps the same text being repeated, and in one place there is even an outburst and giggle from the female narrator that clearly isn't part of the script.

The story itself is so interesting and well crafted - and unpredictable in its most crucial details. Definitely a book and series I will listen to many, many more times.

Worthy conclusion to great series

if only the two readers would agree on how to pronounce the characters' names, would rate 5 all across
