Publisher's summary

Miami’s hottest property management team is back in action in an all-new mystery!

Certified Process Server Jackie Parker’s life is finally on the right track. Her cozy little bungalow is finished, her business is booming, and her relationship with the Dark Prince is better than she ever could have imagined. So what if she’s still living with her ex and her mother who wants them to buy matching tiny homes? Who cares if Logan is sharing his house with a woman on the run from her abusive husband? No big deal if an onsite manager is stealing rent or tenants are turning tricks on her client’s property. It’s nothing Jackie and the guys haven’t dealt with before.

Until Logan is arrested for murder.

Jackie’s all set to do what she does best and find the real killer. But Logan insists she should stay out of the mix and let the professionals handle it. Sure, Logan wouldn’t be the Dark Prince if he didn’t have some shady dealings. But Jackie knows Logan. He’s a tough guy who will do anything to protect the people he loves. He isn’t truly capable of cold-blooded murder.

Is he?

Twisted up

Jackie and Logan started dating. Things are strained between her and Luke. He’s dating someone and won’t tell her but he also won’t tel his parents they are divorced. Jackie is still struggling with the fake fiancé even though she’s gone. Things don’t get better when Logan is thrown in jail for murder. This book has all the normal crazy. Bad guys, crazy moments that could only happen to Jackie and growth. There’s a lot of growth for the love triangle and it falls hard on one side. Not sure if you are Team Luke or Team Logan but Jackie finally makes a choice. The murder mystery is strong in this one and not everyone gets a happy ending but it was a great read and the narrator continues to mail the characters!

Humor & Murder

I think this was the best book of the four in the series. The mystery was convoluted. The characters remained appealing and complex. Most of the angst was over, although there were still several complications that Jackie had to deal with on her path to true love. I recommend this series to others who enjoy this genre. Suzanne Cerreta's narration was lovely and added to the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Hope There Is More

Jackie, Logan and Luke manage to get in difficult situations. In this book they surpass more events than the other three books combined. Their personal lives are changed alot. Wacky Celeste makes me laugh. Out of the four book series this one is my favourite because Jackie gets her HEA. I hope Ms. Hart writes more books in this series. Narrator Suzanne Cerreta knows how to convey the character personalities when voicing tis book.

Good ending; I’m exhausted

This series. It is really work to read. So many screwed up people in one small area.

At several points I just threw up my hands and said “Fine. They deserve each other.” I can’t believe Logan kept trying—to me he was the main character, not Jackie (spelling?), who was really quite immature in many scenes throughout the entire series, but who also had some interesting and out of the blue moments of self-knowledge.

Overall, I kept on moving from book to book because we got to hear Jackie’s thoughts and we could see that she was at least honest with herself—and thus us as the readers. She did know she had problems. I wasn’t having to shout at the screen “Aaaaa, you are TSTL!”. While she may HAVE been TSTL, she knew it (if not at that moment, later).

I am all for the narrator. Great job all the way through (even though one short scene with Marcie (spelling?) had her voice much more like the guys’ for a few lines.
