So very pink. Bright and sunny and peppy. I mean, she has at least 104 pairs of sunglasses. Why? I've never seen a woman wear so many sunglasses before: red, pink, blue, green, glitter-encrusted. I don't understand it.

As for her organizational skills? Abysmal. Her attention to detail? Non-existent. Her ability to frustrate me to no end? Spot on. I never should have hired her. Lola Pink does not fit into my schedule. Nevertheless, she whirled into my life anyway; and she changed everything. Now I'm stuck trying to keep my company afloat and the two of us alive, while Lola turns my life all shades of pink.

Loved the story hope there be many more of Lola and Dane hopefully we won’t have to wait very long

It’s okay

It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t stellar, it just was there. Overall it was a mystery with a romanceish twist.

Very entertaining story and narration

This book has an array of wonderful and quirky characters. I love the way Gina La Manna writes. The story has a lot of suspense and the beginning of a romance. I enjoy that there isn't much violence in the book nor any graphic sex. It is a very enjoyable book. The narration is very good.

Cute story

Cute sweet story. Liked the characters but the actresses voice was a bit flat. Enjoyed it by listening at it at a faster speed.

Ended up loving it

After a slow start I ended up loving this one! It took a while to get used to the narrators cadence at first but I eventually got used to it. Worth a listen.

A cozy romance and mystery

This is a funny whimsical story of mystery and romance.
Lola Pink is 28-years old, smart and independent. Her grandmother, Dotty Pink, passed. Lola must decide can she financially pursue the dream Dotty and she shared. Into her shop walks billionaire Dane Clark. He offers an opportunity to save her dream. The problem is that she has never solved a case of corporate espionage. She has one week to solve the mystery and she will make enough money to follow her dream.

Dane is smart, logical, a technological genius, and peculiar. His world is black or white, legal or not. The emotions, feelings and nuances of people are not familiar to him.

Lola and her friends, Baba, and Annalise grew up in the city of Sunshine Shore near the carousel, ferries wheel and boardwalk. The top of the water tower has been their club house location since second grade.

The city hosts an assortment of quirky characters: Bernie Poppers the boardwalk janitor, whose reading bench is directly under the girls’ club house, Darrel from Dungeons and donuts who keeps the girls high on sugar, and Mrs. Fredricks who always has a batch of cookies ready for them.

This was a refreshing story for me. I hope you enjoy it.

Hate the narration.

Story was ok. It was on the free shelf so that’s its only saving grace.

Simply perfect!

Loved it! A great story mixed with romance, mystery, and comedy with characters that leave you wanting more. Thank goodness there are a few more books in the series.

I liked how these quirky characters came together in the story. I will definitely read the other books in this series.

The flirtation between the two main characters.

This story is great. The sexual tension between Lola and Dane is steamy and the playful nature of Lola and her friends makes this a fun who done it. I definitely recommend Shades of Pink!
