Maddie Chester is determined to leave her hometown of Gansett Island, a place that has brought her only bad memories and ugly rumors. I love Maddie and Max’s story the best. I do a revisit yearly and this was my first time listening. Totally worth the credit.

This book pulls you in almost instantly. The ups and downs can be felt as you read. I heard this is part of a series and I look forward to knowing all the things! Great read! Severe ADHD didn’t even stop me!

This is such a sweet story! I really enjoyed Maddie (sans Thomas) and Mac’s journey to being a family. This book would probably be PG-13 bc there is really only 1 actual sex scene. It’s well done, but more would have been better!
