First, the audio quality is poor. There is frequent static, inconsistent volume, and long sections where you cannot clearly hear audience members because the material is clearly pulled from old live video trainings where participants were nowhere near a microphone.
Second, this is not actually a book. There is no manuscript, no structure, and no intentional audiobook production. It is simply a collection of audio ripped from old video trainings and presentations. In other words, this is recycled content repackaged as an audiobook.
If you have ever listened to Russell Brunson’s podcast or watched his YouTube videos, you already have this information. This audiobook is nothing more than a rehash of his monologues and old training clips that are available for free elsewhere. There are no new insights, no hidden strategies, and no original material.
There is also no concrete action plan. There is no clear framework for what to do next or how to implement anything discussed. It does not move you forward in business in any practical way. Knowing that a version of this same material is sold on their website for $1,997 is astonishing and crosses into territory that feels deeply unethical.
The content itself is repetitive. The same stories are told over and over again, including the familiar example of Roger Bannister breaking the four minute mile, without adding anything new or useful each time.
Even worse, much of the material references outdated and obsolete tools and practices. It promotes old software and courses that no longer exist. It discusses communication methods that are no longer relevant, such as weekly fax campaigns, mail order catalogs as a primary strategy, and telephone dial-in teleseminars. This makes it clear how old the source material really is.
One section includes a Dan Kennedy presentation recorded in front of a live audience. His audio is passable, but again, this is just the raw audio from a video. He repeatedly references a physical book handed out to attendees, including page numbers. As an audiobook listener, you have no access to that material and no context for what he is talking about. This highlights again that “Magnetic Story Selling” is not a real book in any meaningful sense.
If you have listened to Russell Brunson’s podcast or watched Dan Kennedy’s training videos from ten years ago, you have already consumed everything offered here.
After finishing this audiobook, I lost all respect for Russell Brunson, Dan Kennedy, and Dan Henry, who promotes this product. This is not clever marketing. It is recycled content sold under false pretenses. In my view, this crosses the line from aggressive marketing into outright scamming.
Save your money. There is nothing new here, and much of it is freely available elsewhere in better quality.
