Could be more polished

This story was compelling enough so I finished it, but it needs a good editor. Mmc is way too whiny and dramatic for a mafia boss. My eyes almost rolled out if my head at times. Trauma back stories and ed could be triggering for some. Performances are ok, but Marco's voice sounds like Sam Eagle.

Mafia & Maid!! Isa has down it again with an amazing love story showcasing two people who find healing through each other love for one another..I absolutely loved Rosa and Camillo story and the narrators brought the story to life. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cringe

Not the worst I’ve ever read but it was painful. It was like what a teenager would dream a teenage boy would say . . . Coming out of the mouth of a mafioso. The narrators were great.

DNF

I just couldn’t do it. Every man in this book was insufferable. They literally all threw constant fits over everything, were constantly angry, were absolutely useless, the MMC included. Mafia men that all acted like spoiled teenage boys. Normally I try to stick out finishing a book and can past annoying characters, but not in this case since it was literally every man. The voice actors were doing an amazing job honestly, but even their performance couldn’t save this.

Decent story poorly written

The story was good, but the writing was robotic and the characters were somewhat flat

Voice’s are too Dramatic

The Narrator’s voices were too over the top. Each time they spoke it was as if they were trying to squeak out their last request on their death beds. Editors, do better. Liked the story, not the performance!!! They did not do the story justice. Couldn’t even finish it. The male character was the worst!!! I previewed this on Tik Tok and was so excited to listen to it. Wish I had just purchased on paperback instead of on Audible. Poor editing!!! Do better!
