Go After Love!!!

This was my first listen of the work by this author, and she did not disappoint. It was not the ordinary boy meets girl, falls in love, and run off into the sunset. The narrators were perfect for the roles. I’ve heard Ebony, before and she was great. But, this Tony, whew chile…he has an amazing voice. I will definitely be peeping out any other books that he narrates. It was such a unique storyline. I appreciated Nissi’s forwardness. I mean when there is someone you want, you go for it, even if you have to put yourself out there. She was going to be in touch with her knight and shining armor. TikTok made it work for her, and that little glitch in the elevator - until Kannon had to mess it up with his leaving out a very important detail. It was definitely love at first sight between Nissi and Kannon, but it was a challenge getting them to each other once those blocks were put before them. I admire that they both were upfront with their previous connections; the fact that they weren’t meant for each other. They knew it would be wrong to string them along, when their heart was with someone else. That takes courage to admit that, although it might cause some hurt. I loved the dynamics between Nissi and her sisters and Kannon and his brother (by the way, I look forward to Kinston’s story, with Angela??).

Cute modern story

I love the overall story but the characters were dragging it out FR! But that’s how it be in real life so I get it! I love love at first sight.

The characters are developed well. The situations may be a bit contrived, but it’s still a fun ride.

It's my first with this author and I saw that its her debut. Well good job girl!!!! I love the storyline, the characters, and the narrators. They all did a great job. The author kept me intrigued all the way through with the right amount of spice, the right amount of depth, the right amount of foundation all around great story. She set it up that I hope she's going to write sequels regarding her sisters I want to know what's going on with Angela and the mystery behind Akeelah's husband I'm looking forward to it worth the credit

I didn’t know how to feel in the beginning but boy did this play out like a true romance novel with so many twists n turns my head was spinning one minute, crying the next, then signing! Well done and with absolutely relatable characters! Worth the credit indeed 🥰💕

So! I want to give a honest review for this new author. The book was Good! However your main Characters had no real time together. I hope you have a book two for them.

A Modern day love story

I really enjoyed this book! It was a modern day love story! I definitely believe in love at first site.

Right Person, wrong time...

Nissi is a dentist that was stuck in an elevator on her way to work. Calling the fire department to get her out, Nissi see fine fireman Kannon. Wanting to thank him for his rescue, she ask tiktok for help. Five hours and the best date of her life, she finds out a secret that ends, the date and any chance of them moving forward. This was a great story and I loved how the author showed the main female character refused to settle for anything to be with a man she wants. She also showed the main male character growth in what he wanted in a relationship and the steps to receive what he wanted.
Now the narrators were perfect for this story. This was my first time listening to Tony Isbella and Ebony Mendez. Ebony had the Nissi down packed, she was flirty, smart, but also embodied Nissiwith the sass. Tony Isbella was the perfect Kannon, he delivered the voice of a man that was deep, and gave you all the feels all over. I really enjoyed this audible, check it out and I hope you do as well.
