Great Story!

This story was everything I didn’t know I needed — sweet, funny, and full of chemistry. Meka James really knows how to balance romance and real emotion. The banter had me smiling, and the narration brought every moment to life. It’s the perfect listen when you want something lighthearted but still full of heart.

Sexy love story with beautiful representation

I loved this audible book from the very beginning the story trapped me in the best ways. The main characters are complicated in their own right but wow their chemistry was incredible and intoxicating I was anticipating the roller coaster ride but received so much more.

Narrators were incredible they both had the right pace, and the right sensuality that brought the story to new heights.

this is a story that I will continue to revisit.

An ode to mental health

I listened to this twice back to back to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It was a good story, but Deja irritated my soooul. Like was this written to bring light to autism or OCD? I mean it’s fine, I support inclusive themes, but I think I needed a heads up. lol.

I really enjoyed it

Lauryn Nichols does it again! She is one of the best female narrators for a reason! I enjoy Meka's stories as usual, so no surprise there either. However, Marcella Cox's voice really grated on my nerves a bit. The robotic voice, no emotion put into her words AT ALL. I always sped it up when it was in Khadijah's POV. Overall, I would still recommend this audiobook & story

This was an awesome sports romance!

Khadijah Upton and Shae Harris are different in so many ways, but they have an instant connection when they first meet. A supposed HOT one-night stand turns into a complicated work situation, and that's where all the fun begins. Khadijah wants to keep things professional, while Shae wants to see what fate has in store for them.

I love the writing. I love all the characters. It was funny, it was sweet, it was 🌶🔥🥵 - a great story!

Lauryn Nichols and Marcella Cox did such an amazing job with the narration!! 👏👏👏

poor production

the story is good, the narratordbwete good, how the book was produced for audible version in my opinion is poor. you have 2 narrators, they should be speaking their own parts regardless.of the chapter title.
