Publisher's summary

Bound by blood, duty, and magic. Which will win?

Lily Singer’s allies and family are determined to hold John Faust accountable for his actions, but doing so may create more problems than it solves. From political intrigue to international alliances, Lily, Sebastian, and Sir Kipling must venture out into the larger wizard community and survive the first Wizard Convocation held in almost a century.

And they can't just survive, they must win.

Because the enemy they thought they'd defeated was only just getting started, and he always keeps his promises...especially when they involve death and destruction. With her ne'er-do-well witch and magical talking cat by her side, Lily will have to navigate broken family relationships, a daring rescue operation, and the struggle between light and dark within her own soul.

They may have won the battle, but the war has only just begun.

With 2,000+ five-star ratings on Amazon and Goodreads and over a quarter million copies sold, this urban fantasy series full of adventure and snarky humor is guaranteed to cause loud snorts of laughter, tea cravings, and sleep loss. Don't start listening at night or you'll never go to bed! Great for fans of urban fantasy from Harry Potter to Harry Dresden. Grab Kindred now and find out if magic is thicker than blood!

Cliff Hanger

Another great adventure for Lily, Sebastian & Sir Edgar Alan Kipling that unfortunately stops in the middle ! To be continued in the next book. Oh dastardly stuff! And Pip the pixie is returning and I'll just have to wait. Go ahead and read this one now, sort of like sipping water to avoid dehydration, because before we know it Mrs Sherrer will produce the rest of the story. ❤️

Great story to listen to as a couple!

The series has picked its pace and depth back up in the last couple books after a bit of a lull (necessary to the plot and character development) in the middle books. Absolutely worth the listen and waiting for the next in the series!! The narrator absolutely brings it to life!

Cozy fantasy suspense!!

I really like this series! From the way the “chapters” are organized to the personal drama of the characters, I’m really caught up in the story!!

Should not have been 20+ hours....

I can't even believe I am saying this because I always want more, but this book is needlessly long. I almost quit listening during the first part of the trial. I literally do not care what every one is wearing or what color the clothing is, or that they are slim. Why is everyone slim?

I also pretty much hate Lily at this point. She is so angsty and self-righteous and whiney it's just annoying. I had hoped she would grow with the story line but she is the same now as she was in the first book. She comes across as a teenager and not an adult.

I like Amy Mcfadden's narration and voices but she has been mutilating certain words like Enochian (e-NOH-kee-an) since book one. I was 3 books in before I figured out what the word was. Why hasn't someone corrected this?

Ok, that is a lot of complaining so then why am I still listening to this series? I am interested in the story line and I like most of the other characters. I am a sucker for a good vs. evil story. Will I get the next book in the series when it comes out? I'm sure I will.

A great adventure with sparky cat comments

I raced through the whole series and can't wait for the next book. Magic and fay mayhem with a little romance make for great entertainment.

Lily

Lily was starting to get really annoying with her self righteousness. some is good but towards the end I wanted to just stop listening because she was grating on my nerves to the point I was rooting for her dad.
