Would you listen to Love Burns again? Why?

In time, I might. After I've forgotten some of the details.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Indy. I loved her sense of humor.

What about Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott ’s performance did you like?

I loved how they could change their voices or accents enough that you could easily tell all the characters apart.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. I cried for the last few chapters. I don't deal well with character death, especially when it's caused by a TSTL decision by the hero.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this audiobook, but my heart broke near the end. Expect an ugly cry. I have to say that Ross and Kennicott are superb actors, and it really showed in the tear-jerker scenes.

What made the experience of listening to Love Burns the most enjoyable?

Love the way Wen and Kai get into character. I also enjoy listening to them tell a story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Love Burns?

When Deacon and Frankie were in the cage. HOT

Have you listened to any of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to quite a few and I just love how they tell a story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I git teary eyed when they had the big fall out with the mob and the hospital scene.

Very enjoyable. Excellent follow up from Love Hurts.

Wow! Hard to quit listening!

I loved both of the books in this series but this one was fantastic. LOVED Deacon and Frankie. so sweet. not sure if I'm a fan of anyone being called the 'princess' but it worked. liked the whole cage fighting story! the narration was great. NICE steam level on the sex!

This book picks up right where book 2 ends... thank god!!! I loved that we got complete closure at the end of this book. It was sad, sweet, happy and dirty all together. Deacon grew on me more with this book for sure. I didn't dislike him in book 1 but he was just hard to love. Frankie was a little childish in the last book and towards the end of this book she really showed her strength! It was a little high in drama but I get it completely.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Deacon. Strong, demanding, yet soft and gentle for the woman he loved.

What does Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have read a few ebooks before they did the narrations and let me tell you it is not the same at all. They bring so much emotion to the stories and you feel every word they utter. They make you laugh, they make you cry, they make you angry, yet the whole time you're routing for the hero and heroine to overcome their obstacles.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, I cried my eyes out plenty of times listening to this book. My heart will never be the same.

Mandi Beck was a new author to me, but I'm so glad I found her. She has quickly become one of my go to authors and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.
