For me, Blake is the only author I've discovered doing a 'rejected mate' series and he really nails these.

I absolutely loved the shift in energy for Book 2. After the intensity of the first book, getting to see Josh and Andy’s dynamic develop in the kitchen was such a treat. Blake has this way of taking a 'rejected mate' trope and making it feel grounded and earned. Josh’s initial hesitation and uncertainty revolcing his own sexuality and attitude made his eventual realization and attraction to Andy feel so much more authentic.

​The baking elements weren't just background noise; they added a cozy, domestic layer to the shifter world that you don't see often enough. It’s sweet, it’s spicy, and it proves that sometimes the best way to heal a rogue wolf isn't through a fight, but through a little bit of patience and a lot of heart. If you're looking for a shifter story that feels like a warm hug (with some serious heat tucked inside), this is the one. Blake continues to prove why he’s a must-read for the genre!
