It was not until he was forty that an insightful therapist told him he had the form of autism called Asperger’s syndrome. That understanding transformed the way Robison saw himself—and the world.

Look Me in the Eye is the moving, darkly funny story of growing up with Asperger’s at a time when the diagnosis simply didn’t exist. For this wonderful story, and your outstanding performance and detailed story line I think you. I am a mother of two Asperger children and every thing you said was spot on. My son who is 17 is socially awkward but yet he somehow is able to persevere through school through his challenges and has become and incredible and outstanding young man at 17, he is a veteran of Wrestling and one of the most intense wrestlers I’ve ever seen. I wish more people would understand about this disorder and look at it as a gift instead of a disability thank you Mr. Roberson for your incredible testimony of your disorder and sharing it with the world!

Heartwarming

I got this book hoping to get some insight on how to better raise my son who has asperger’s.
It turns out that this was not a good choice for that but if it’s give me some insight as to the trail in trouble people have growing up with.this syndrome. Funny and sad at times it is written from the heart and was a good story.

Interesting and Captivating

I enjoyed Mr Robison's personal story. It held my attention thoroughly and at times brought tears to my eyes. My grandson shows signs of being on the spectrum and this story has given me an understanding of what might go through his head. He too is an avid lover of trains. I will recommend this book to my daughter his mother and my husband! Thank you Mr Robison for sharing your story!
