Over the past 15 years, I’ve been fascinated with longevity and have studied extraordinary people who have multi-century mindsets for living. They have raised the standards of their life far beyond what most people’s ideas of what aging can become.
Today, most people will live to 80 years of age, where 85 percent will have some form of heart disease, cancer, or an autoimmune disease. Lifestyle choices, as identified by the World Health Organization(WHO), are why people are getting sick today, which only gets worse when we find out we have health care systems designed around the treatment of illness and disease and not prevention.
“People today are living too short and dying too long.”
So what is the solution? We must play the game of life on offense where life is in our hands.
- We decide to create and grow our life with purpose and live outside our comfort zone.
- We decide if we let stress control our life and mind, or we can choose to live in the now and use the energy of our life to shape our attitude.
- We decide to live in health, listen to our body, consume real living food, and adopt meditation and movement as the way forward.
- We decide to start a business, take control of our life, so we will thrive in chaos and live in freedom.
These four statements are the key ingredients needed to experience longevity in one’s life. They all start from the source, which is us and not from the outside world where we have no control over the circumstances.
