Fantastic Finale

I am going to miss the hell outta these characters, and their exploits!! One of my all time fave mystery series, and the way the author brought everything full circle was simply beautiful…. Only bad thing about entire series was the near constant change of narrators…. Pronunciations and accents kept changing….

Is this the last?

As usual, an excellent book that you can’t put down, but I am sad thinking that this was the last one, if as indicated at the end

Character development maintains strong intricate plot, subtle humor entertaining as always, and successful closure at the correct moment.

Seeking Answers

This book attempts to answer many questions that Carl may not even be aware of at the beginning of the book. Through many tribulations Carl discovers that by being human, he can solve the unknown.

Complete!

After watching the Netflix department Q, I found other film versions of The Keeper of Lost Causes and other Department Q novels and then transitioned to listening to the entire series. Some I liked, some I didn’t, but overall this is a great series because of the characters’ depth and the crimes breadth.

Incredible finish to a great series

I have been waiting for the audio book for months, if not years! I had pre-ordered it before I went blind, so I now had to buy Audible version. I have always loved the characters, the plot, the reveal over time. I had just finished another authors finale with disappointment. This did not disappoint. The narrator was excellent. A beautiful bringing together of all threads. But I recommend you read them in order. Highest praise for a crime series.

what a great way to spend time. listening to a story about great characters, well conceived story. just so entertaining. Just what I needed. last one in the series? Probably, but hopefully not.

I will miss Department Q! Thank you Jussi for the many hours of smiles, thrills, mysteries, grumpy inspired Carl, wonderful Assad and the whole Q family. Thank goodness I can go back and listen to them all again!
