Feels Like Listening to a Comic Book

I really appreciated the Author’s use of tertiary POV portions to add a large amount of depth to the narrative

Great series

I’m loving the strong heroines and the love they have for one another, protecting the innocent and life itself.


A new spin on the main character not having any social hang ups because of the way she came in to the world is really nice. Villains that are more than just the average cannon fodder or mindless destroyers of the world is great too.

The narrator is new to me but she did an amazing job with all the voices and was able to keep them straight through out the fast pace of action and witty banter.

This was super creative world building. I really enjoyed it. All the characters are well written and i appreciate most of the side characters in this series. I usually don't really care for side characters that much. Really excited see where the series goes

Really good story

Loved the characters and how they met, their interactions and the relationship. The story development was nice and steady, their interactions and world building felt rushed but I liked how it wasn’t dragging on and on. Powers were interesting and used very well. The villains seemed over the top and one note. Glad the man villain wasn’t sexist male. Oh wait!
A lot of attention to mundane life. So it slows, but the mc didn’t really develop her power set, or expand on her abilities at all.
