Frightful Dystopia

The first story is a creative take on a future devoid of face-to-face human interaction. It crafts a perilous scenario resultant of impersonal relationships.

The second story is surprisingly more macabre. It opens with optimism, which slowly wanes into an abruptly tragic event. It is a dark commentary on the over-sanitization of society. The message is brilliant, assuming I interpreted it correctly, but the story itself was less enjoyable to listen to. This is not the fault of the narrator. Rather, it is the kind of story that is better read than heard, as it allows one to glance back to hinted messages and contemplate more leisurely. Listening hastened the thinking process, and rewinding caused the experience to feel disjointed.

David Bosco’s performance is solid, as he provides distinct character voices and a smooth delivery.
