They ruined a perfectly good lit RPG

The first three books get a 10 out of 10 for me. I was loving the story, the world, and the characters. All the progress of becoming the most powerful clan in the game was for nothing. The competition aspect of becoming the most powerful player in the game is gone. Its almost like the writer started a new story, Im not even interested in finishing the series now!!!!

Weakest in the series this far.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with the book. But that is mostly due to it being the 4th in the series. compared to previous titles there is a lot of lazy writing. The main character will state something then a side character will echo those exact words. Adjectives are often reused making the entire book feel very repetitive.

From mediocre to moronic.

Should have just ended the series with the last book. The author clearly has no idea how to continue the plot organically so he just decided to throw in a Mary Sue to force things along. I'll be refunding this one and won't be listening to this author again.

The added sound effects have ruined this series...

By chapter 4 i was so irritated that i stopped listening. what a shame, i really enjoyed the story up to this point. I have nearly 400 titles, and I've only asked for a refund 3 times. Here's #4....

Worst in the series

I can't even grasp what the author thought he was doing with this installment. It's pretty much just garbage.

He has trouble writing a compelling romantic subplot so let's focus on that heavily and add some very badly done paternal complications and make half the book about that.

Now let's go back to focusing on the split personality subplot but let's completely contradict ourself about what's going on with this issue, so not only is it tedious but is also inconsistent.

It's actually worse than just some weak decisions in how to handle some plotlines. Each major section of the book feels like a filler episode. There is like 10 minutes of plot development crammed between several hours of filler.

Just another fight...

The book only really focused on a weird emotional relation that has to be told 200 times as well as fight scenes.

Great book!

Great book as always kept me wanting more the whole time. I love how the author manages to get you hooked on every character they bring in.

One complaint would prob have to be this book really didn't go anywhere pretty much spent the book getting back into the game and building back up the village. I do feel the book is building up for something great but for now more waiting..

R green overlords do it again

The payoff is a little on the slow side but when he gets there it gets there this is a good arching book getting us ready for the next and last in the series of this arch And it does an amazing job of showing us the time dilation and how it affects the players and a monster's how it affects the whole civilization when the leaders are missing and there there is a A negative situation inside the video game both for the gain and the MP c's

Best Kuznits book yet

I enjoy all of this guys stuff, but this is by far the best one yet and that is saying something. I’m voting Elliott Hays this November their voices were perfect. I would recommend this book to anyone, this author does not do the “adult stuff “ so you can have book on with the kids in the room. My kids really enjoy the books and pretend to be characters-yesterday my daughter was looking for feathers to make a headdress. Great book

What is the story?

overall the action was great. The pacing was slowed at times considerably with existential musings. Which if was the main focus could be compelling (a la the Matrix). But it is not the focus and bogs down the story. Hopefully this improves in later books.

Gold standard LitRPG

I listen to alot of LitRPG audibooks, it would be 90% of what I listen to these days and its getting harder and harder to discover new gems. Life Reset had tough competition when I started it going against the Shaman series and The land but its hands down my favourite series now (The Land : Monsters knocked the series out of the running for the time being!)

This is another excellent instalment on the series which gives us a greater view of the world and sates the appetite of "what would Oren do with more time and resources" that book 3 left us with. The book flew by and I was horrified to learn I had finished the book in just a few days driving but it was hooked the whole time.

The voice acting is simply astounding, the level of music and sound effects (plus great atmospheric audio distortion etc) really draws you in to the story.

A big BIG plus for this book and the series as a whole is there is just enough stat descriptions, just enough to keep you interested and make you daydream about how you would spend the XP etc. This is a really hard balance as you have books with not nearly enough vs books that literally just fill their pages with stat screens to the point you start wondering were they struggling to hit their word count (Again... sorry The Land : Monsters). It also manages to avoid some of the cringe we have to endure in some LitRPGs with the NPC relationships, sure they are in there but its not uncomfortable slash fic as it is in so many others

There are elements of others series creeping in on this book, i would describe them as tributes or nods more than copying but some of the magic mechanics and the eventual plots etc definitely echos with some other well known LitRPGs series out there

Overall a great read and another fantastic addition to the series.

- Teases the larger world

Return to form!!!

The last production of 'Life Reset' was a bit of a mess with the sound editing all over the place and the story a bit lacking. I'm glad to say that this is a return to form. Jeff Hays and his team at Soundbooth Theatre have really nailed the sound editing this time and it definitely adds to the story and creates tensions and atmosphere appropriately. Mr Kuznits has crafted a great story and it had me hooked from beginning to end. I can't wait for the next one! 😃

The thing with the vow is weird and unnecessary. But I like the combat narration.

Jeff Hayes and the team have narrated another brilliant book from the series! Credit to the author also on a fantastic series of books, I love them.

good but a bit cringy from time to time

a bit too much of the childish weapon and battle sounds but I like the music

I found that this book was a bit slower in some places compared to the first 3 books.

similar structure to the other books but adds enough to keep it from feeling stale.

Cracking story

What a welcome back to the green peace tribe. Loved the book and can't wait for the next one.
