Great Storyline

I had never read any of Owen Hill's stories before and I am definitely impressed. I enjoyed this short story so much. It kept my attention the whole time. The story was great. I was surprised by the ending. I'm a fan of daddy, brother and now Owen.

Went Downhill Fast

This one didn't thrill me as well. It started out good. A young man and his sickly mother weather money troubles. He finds an unusual solution that brings them good fortune. He has his doubts along the way. The twist at the end wasn't as clear as it should've been and didn't make much sense. Narration on the audiobook was rather rote and dull.

Disappointed

I liked some of Owen’s that I had read but this left me unimpressed. I found myself not liking the central character because he seemed pretty okay with harm for someone else bringing fortune to him. Maybe a short story is too short to build the believable world where the letter slot seems plausible. I hate that I wasted a credit on this. Oh well.

Another awesome story from Owen King! Creepy story about a kid offered a chance to help his mom. For a small price… Narrator Grover Gardner was amazing. He also narrated The Stand by SK and just like that book, he really made listening to Letter Slot that much better!
