Gave me a good start in the Spanish language!

I really enjoyed learning through this course! it helped me very much. It was all very clear and understandable.
I didn't know much Spanish besides hola and buenos dias. but now I feel I can really have a basic conversation and get around a bit if I'm in a Spanish speaking country.
Now I'm going on another next course! :)

A Lot of repetition

most of book is the same. very basic limited vocab. only 2 chapters on advanced tenses.would like to see more in depth scenarios

Great listen, bad guide book

The audible part is great. The author has an seamless way to introduce different concepts. However, there is no structure to the content. For example, it does not say Chapter 1, Chapter 2 etc. Furthermore, the accompanying pdf (which is essential to see spelling etc) does not follow the audible structrure. Also it does not provide Chapters as in the Audible app. Therefore, it makes the user like me confused. These issues could have been easily corrected but the author did not care enough to do that.

Great except the numbers part could have been shorter to focus on more usage of verbs in past and future

Excellent introductory course in Spanish

Paul Noble does a great job in teaching Spanish. I listened to it twice so far and I really enjoyed learning it this way. You won’t regret purchasing it!!

Very good

I am 63 years old, so very far away from high school where I studied Spanish for five years plus a year in college. I was quite proficient back then but definitely not fluent. I have now decided I would like to become fluent and do some longer traveling in Spanish speaking countries so I was looking for something that would help me re-learn Spanish.
I chose this course and have been extremely happy. I will say I don't know how easy this course would be to actually learn Spanish if you were a pure beginner but for me, it has pulled things that have been long lost in my brain and I am picking it up quite rapidly. I like the format of Paul asking you to say something with a nice long pause and then to people giving their versions of the answer in Castilian and Latin American Spanish.
He focuses on vocabulary that you would likely use if you were traveling in a Spanish-speaking country as opposed to topics or words that you would not be likely to use. I have found it very helpful.
