Publisher's summary

Bear is leather and lawless. Thia is prim and proper. It will never work between them. It's a lie they almost believe.

BEAR GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

I wasn't sure I could love another after King, and then here comes Bear trying to give sexy King a run for his money! Gritty, romantic, and raunchy are just a few of the words I'd use to describe this story, and definitely Bear's and Thea's characters. I enjoy the raw & unfiltered way that T.M. Frazier writes. Just like King, Lawless will gut-punch you, and you'll love every minute of it.

Buy all T.M. Frazier's audiobooks!!!

Lawless is part one of the Lawless/Soulless duet and book 3 and 4 of King. I highly recommend starting at King and working all the way through. These books aren't something I normally would listen to. They're very gritty and real in a way that sometimes is heartbreaking, but her writing is done in such a way that it pulls you in. When you think you are on the edge of a cliff and it's too much, she pulls you in and wraps you up with her heartbroken heroes/heroines that despite all their flaws, you absolutely LOVE.

Molly Glenmore and Rob Shapiro both have perfect performances in my opinion, and completely suit the gritty, raw events of these books. They are emotional, hot, primal, and their pacing and inflections are spot on. I can't imagine any other narrators being able to bring these books to life like they do. When a narrator can bring you in to the book and make you feel all the emotions, that's an audiobook you'll listen to over and over. Molly Glenmore and Rob Shapiro definitely do that!`

Dark MC story - takes two books to make one story

This is a dark gritty MC story. It has some parts that frankly I could have done without listening to. Yuck. But it also has a story that is a good one. I just don't think it needs to be in two parts. Sorry. I don't think it enhances the story to make it into two parts.

A GRIPPING STORY... BUT A CLIFFHANGER ENDING

This book follows on from King and Tyrant which is where I first met and fell for Bear who is a sexy badass Alpha Biker belonging to his Father's Beach Bastards MC but decisions were made and he chose to walk away from his Father, the Brotherhood and the Club. Bear was fully aware that he'd just become a dead man walking because that's the only way you left the BB MC. At the start of this book he was drowning himself in blow, booze and willing babes because he was a broken, tortured and violated man now just waiting for death to knock on the door but instead his phone rang.... and one phone call changed everything.

Sweet, innocent 17 year old Thia held a promise ring given to her by a handsome Biker when she was just 10 years old and the promise was that if ever she needed a favor in the future then she should come and find him. His name was Bear and for 7 years she kept that ring on a chain around her neck never believing she would ever use it. But, one sad, heartbreaking and bloody day Thia did just that.... she went to find Bear and cash in her favor but at the Beach Bastards MC Bear was gone and all she found was a terrifying nightmare dished out by the evil and sadistic hands of their Prez.... Bear's Father.

This started a chain of events that had Bear and Thia reluctantly thrown together, they initially verbally taunted and sparred with each other as the sexual sparks flew, they were hunted trapped and killed to save one another, they claimed each other in a possessive, sexual and all consuming way, they fell in love and then they were ruthlessly torn apart by one of T M Frazier's torturous twists. And, if that wasn't enough, there was an even bigger shock and twist as she so cruelly leaves the book with a humdinger of a cliffhanger.... and the promise that all Hell is about to break loose.

This isn't a romance, it's a claiming.... but even so it's still a poignant love story between two broken people who are desperately trying to save each other but are sadly failing. It's dark, gritty and raw and there's no flowery pretty words instead the words are tortured, possessive, lewd, crude and intense..... but nevertheless they still say "I love you". This listen is riddled with suspense, tension, danger, sex, passion and the absolute assurance that everything is gearing up to explode in the second part of their love story where Bear will have to fight.... fight to be free, fight his vengeful ruthless Father, fight the BB MC, fight to keep Thia safe and fight for a HEA for them both. Told from both POV's, includes well loved characters from books 1 and 2 and both narrators did a great job.

Worth a credit? T M Frazier certainly knows how to write a tense, addictive and gripping dark love story with twists... and I fear this is just the storm before the tsunami that is about to be unleashed when book 4 in this series is released - and I can't wait. YES it's absolutely creditworthy if you like your Heroes primal and your storyline shades darker than normal. But I only wish I knew beforehand that this was going to end with a cliffhanger because I dread and avoid them at all costs until the full story can be enjoyed all in one go - so now you've been warned.

Not Too Bad of a Cliff-hanger

This is such an amazing series and this book is no exception. Book 3 is all about Bear and rounding out his character and all that goes along w.it. After reading all the reviews about it being a cliff-hanger I was leary of listening to this one before the audio copy of book 4 was released. I'm so glad I took the chance because although the story ended at a very pivotal moment I don't feel that it was all that "cliff-hanger-ish". No main characters' lives or relationships were in question, there was no kind of detrimental impact to the 2 main characters. It more or less just leaves you wondering as it would at the end of a chapter, but nothing all that life changing. Definitely worth the credit!

Oh my Bear!!

I thought King was intense and broody but Bear is raw, gritty and alpha to the core..

Bear and T’s story starts with a promise to a girl and ends up being an intense ride of conflicting emotions. Their story is not easy and neither is the badge they carry but it a story I can’t get enough of and I am dying after that cliffy.

I am loving this series and definitely recommend grabbing yours!

Gotta love Thia!

Lawless is about Bear and Thia meeting and how they end up meeting again seven years later. I love Thia and have a whole new respect for her. The shit she goes through is absolutely horrid, but it's all worth getting her Bear.
Perfect narrators with Molly Glenmore and Rob Shapiro again 💞
