Wonderfull for kids and us a bit older kids
Combination of Cressida’s storytelling and David’s narration is marvelous!!! I really hope they will make the fourth book with David reading the story.
I enjoyed every moment of this book, laughed, cheered and cried.

Loved it!
5 stars. This was the 3rd book in the Wizards of Once series and I had been looking forward to reading this a lot. I can't say too much without giving the story away, but like the first two books, I laughed a lot and enjoyed the story, and the best part was listening to David Tennant narrate the story...absolutely brilliant and I can't wait to read the next book!

The children of destiny return!
Knock three times is just as beautiful as it's two predecessors. The story keeps twisting and surprising the reader/listener.
Cressida has a magnificent talent to bring life little nuances for the children analysis without dumbing down but neither with coldness or adult scepticism.
As many other times, I got to read and listen this book (the series) because of my children and then I found myself enjoying not just the story but discovering that my inner child is still alive and healthy. Cressida, JK, Philip Pullman and others are responsible for that, as it was years before the work of Tolkien, Conan Doyle and many more.
David Tennant is just fantastic in narrating and acting and bringing every character to life.
All in all I enjoyed this last book a lot, even if compared with the previous (particularly the first one) it doesn't have the same surprise factor.

Pure enjoyment from start to finish
An excellent story and SUPERB narration. David Tennant is a genius with accents, voices and story-telling. Such a joy to listen to him, whether you’re seven or seventy.

One to listen to over and over
Our family of 4 love this series. Children 6 and 8 have listened to the series twice now. Narration is fantastic, we love the gutsy characters, and the mix of adventure, humour and a bit of scary thrown in.
