Steamy and intriguing!
This book had me blushing as I listened while getting groceries. I was grateful that no one had a clue what a steamy book I was enthralled in. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Wow!

Amazing
I love to read, and I actually didn't start until 4 years ago. But listening to the story really brings it alive full of emotions and attitude. This book is amazing, I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The adventure, love and stubbornness in the story keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Great except for one small problem.
I love CC' s books. They tick all my boxes. I do have one bit of advice for Ms. c. Please shorten the long drawn out passages of angst your characters think before making decisions. May be cut them in half? The mental deliberation is good character building but too much in each case kills the feel of the whole passage and makes the reader want to shout. " ok get on with it!!' Okay I feel better now. When is the next book coming out?'

Lethal Heroes and their Kick-Ass Women
Coreene Callahan's series all have two things in common. The Heroes are lethal to everyone except their Brothers-in-Arms and the women who win their hearts. The women are Kick-Ass and worthy of the Heroes.
I like the medieval feel of this series and of course the dragons!!!

Interesting, but slow
The 2nd half was better than the first? But the entire story seemed to cover a very short period of time and many parts really drug on. I like this author and have read many of her books, but this was just more like a Novella that could have been written with 1/2 the words.
