Everything was glorious and beautiful

I loved this. The voice actors the story just everything was wonderful! This is how all duets should be performed! I loved that the MMC voice was male even when it wasn’t his POV. I just loved this! All duet audiobooks should be read just like this! The voices blended well through out!

I love that this audiobook is in Duet!!! Absolutely helps bring the characters and story to life!! The narrators were both phenomenal!!

Being True to Self

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down and wanted to find out how the relationships developed and how well they would accept one another. The respect shown to Jordan and his decision was so we'll done. I loved that she was of Ethiopian descent and here culture had a prominent role. Most of all she was a wonderful lead character who had to make some hard to fathom decisions. срце моје

Why must I wait

I absolutely enjoyed this series. Reminded me in ways of YOU without the serial killer aspect. A total recreation of Beauty & The Beast.

You did ur big 1 on this book Anna Huang. This is up there with Twisted Hate for me. The length is amazing. Love the ASL addition too. At first i thought the brotherhood was a different kind and i was like nah not with Ayana but that got cleared up and got me back.

Narrators went haaaarrrd!

This narration is perfection!!! Jason Clarke is always incredible and his voice was perfect for Vuk. Nia Serge really brought Ayana to life as well. Props to Ana Huang for doing duet narration; this should be the standard for all audiobooks, especially romance/dual pov books. I thought this was also one of her best recent books in a while! She changed up the rhythm and story timeline and it was refreshing. What brought it down for me was the ‘cat rescue’ scene at the end. I’m sorry, I love you Shadow, but that was so goofy and completely took me out of the story. The spicy scenes were minimal, maybe 2-3 scenes, but well written and drool worthy ;) def recommend!

Slow-burn tension, plot twists, and cameos I LOVED

This book had me hooked. The fake relationship between Ayana and Jordan takes a turn when Vuk—Jordan’s best friend and total grump—enters the picture. The tension? Delicious. The mystery? Constantly kept me guessing. And Ana’s universe? I love seeing characters from past books pop up—it makes it feel like one big bookish reunion.

I experienced the story through the audiobook while reading on my Kindle, and the narration made it even more enjoyable. Jason Clarke was phenomenal, especially when speaking Serbian—it added a layer of intimacy and authenticity that made Vuk even more compelling. Nia Serge was a standout as Ayana; this was my first time hearing her narration, and she brought the character to life beautifully.
