Quick Clean read

I have read many books by Meredith Potts. This is an audible book. This is a new Narrator for the series. I love how she makes her characters believable and likable. The feelings she brings out are true to feelings you may have with loss. Hope plays a detective on a television series and now uses her skills to solve a murder. Walter is in jail after confessing to a murder. She has a funny feeling something is wrong. You have to read the as it will keep you in suspence till the end. I enjoyed this book.

Killer Injustice Hope Hadley Cozy Mystery Series,

Hope is with her boyfriend waiting to hear the jury's verdict on the man who murdered her friend two years before. When the verdict is returned she is incensed and can't understand why the jury voted that way. The next morning she's awoken by a call ..her brother is calling to cancel their breakfast appointment due to a murder...the murderer has been murdered. Hope is surprised and tries to remain composed until her brother tells her to stay out of the case. But no amount of her reassuring her brother she won't stick her nose in, and later her boyfriend doing the same, and she is very frustrated with them. Until she hears that someone has walked into the police station to accept responsibility for the murder. Now Hope is on the case because her gut feeling tells her there's more to it than anyone knows.
Fantastic audio. The narrator, S.L. Crawley , brings each character to life as she tells the story of a murder.

Nice Short Cozy Mystery

The Hope Hadley Series is better than the Treasure Cove Series & Daley Buzz Series that I have read. This is a very short story about two years after the murder of Sadie Cambridge, Hope Hadley is still reeling over her friend's death. Walter Clayton is put on trial for the murder he is acquitted and everyone is shocked.

But Walter's freedom doesn't last long. The next day, he is found murdered.

Finally justice

Walter has just been found not guilty of Sadie’s murder, Hope’s friend and Walter’s girlfriend. But the day after his release he is found dead. Can Hope find the truth or will she let it go because he deserved to die? A tough decision. The audiobook is great.

Such A Talented Amateur Sleuth...

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I'm always looking forward to listen to one of Meredith Potts' audiobooks. Her characters are always spunky but never obnoxious and the plots are straight forward and to the point. This book in the Hope Hadley series does not disappoint. Always looking for justice especially when avenging the death of a dear friend, Hope gets wrapped up in this mystery that evolves quite speedily but not without some twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end. As usual, the writing is very pleasant and easy to follow and the narration very well interpreted. A quick mystery for those days when you wish to be entertained but want to keep it light and enjoyable. Thumbs up!!!
