sexy...hot...intriguing....great twists and turnsi loved all of it and can't wait for the next story!

great book can't wait for book two be on Audible

I really enjoyed the story in the call idea behind it. it was very entertaining and I can't wait for the second one to come out on Audible. I know I will be buying it. it was a great read and a great lesson. I love the concept of the story and urban fantasy. can't wait for the next.

A solid summer beach or rainy day read

I do a lot of heavy reading for my day job, so thing light, frivolous and easy to follow is alway nice when I want to decompress. The story was solid, but a bit more development of the characters earlier on would have been nice. However, all and all this book accomplished just what I was looking for light entertainment without too much mental gymnastics.

Interesting

This was an interesting yet action packed story about witches, witch hunters, and other paranormal creatures. I liked the concept of witches carrying their spells as gems or stones somewhere on their body. The world building was fantastic and the plot had me listening nonstop. That was definitely one crazy twist near the end, totally unexpected. Michael York did an amazing job bringing this book to life. I enjoyed his different accents for each character.

This story was enchanting, magical and captivating. I loved the way the author handled the enemy to lovers romance. If you are a fan of witch hunters, vampires, trolls and all things supernatural then you'll be enchanted by this book. Wade & Caleb's relationship was truly captivating, right from the start I was completely entranced in the adventure. I felt like I was constantly on the edge of my seat trying to anticipate what was going to happen next but it was so full of twists. I can't gush enough about this story and also John York's voice!!! I'm addicted and want more. This was the first time I've listened to John York and he won me over from the start, his voice is sexy, charming and I adore the rawness. If you haven't listened to or read this book yet, all I can say is you are missing out!! I was provided a copy of this audiobook and voluntarily chose to leave a review. This is my honest review.
