Great listen

This is one of the best orators that I’ve listened too. Great classic western with some twists.

The descriptive details.

I like everything by Louis L'Amour because he is a great story teller and very good in details and historical fact.

Grueling and Picturesque

Could almost feel the experience and always appreciate the study of geography the author gives. Didn't expect to hear the main character send the horse back to their original helper, Sam. That's friendship in far begotten places where one would think there are no friends.
