classic L'Amour. 2 books in one title but in the track these are reversed. start with the 2nd half for correct chronology

Great stories, wrong order.

These are two great stories about a gunfighter named Killkenny. But they are told in the wrong order in this recording. You can tell by the things that happen and the people he knows in one but doesn’t know in the other that they are told in the wrong order. Sounds like a small thing, but it’s annoying to listen to the entire second reading hearing things that are telling you you should have heard this one first. So if you can, listen to the second story first.

Good Read

The stories were both full of action. These two stories are the kind of westerners that I prefer. The author, Louis L'Amour, writing are the type of westerners that are always full of a lot of action. Anyone looking for a exciting story should read this book.

Great stories, but…

The events of the 2nd book precede the 1st. No idea why they did that. Sorry I didn’t notice the time stamp, but scroll through and listen to the 2nd book, then go back to the first. I’ve read all these books multiple times, but it’s been a long time. Listening to them is a real treat. Enjoy.

Great story and narration

Enjoy this if you like old western gun fighting high level descriptions with rich narration.

A Man Called Trent A Western Duo was excellent!!!

I've been a fan of Louis L'Amour since the 1970's so I figured I'd give this audiobook a try. I loved it! IMHO the narrator made this great story even better. My only nitpick is the the stories are out of sequence. "The Rider of Lost Creek" should come first and "A Man Called Trent" should come next. That nitpick aside, I highly suggest giving these classic action packed books written by the master of Wild West fiction a try.
