Enjoyable Listen

This standalone book in the Roadtrip Romance Series was a quick and entertaining listen. It was very sweet with some spice and romance. Stella is visiting her sister for summer vacation when Brooks shows up. He is a college friend of Stella's brother-in-law and they immediately hit it off with a burning attraction. I really enjoyed the characters and story - great writing and a fun read when you want a shorter book.

Stella and Brooks will make your heart happy!
Stella and Brooks were so sweet yet so steamy at the same time. I loved that he missed her so badly that he didn’t hesitate to go right back to her. It’s usually the female going after the man (even though we know Stella wanted to but she resisted) so it was refreshing to see it reversed in this sweet journey to their happily after after. I didn’t want it to end. There was so much more I wanted to know but their epilogue was perfect. We weren’t left guessing how their story ended.

Stella and Brooks kept my heart racing!
Stella and Brooks kept me on my toes!
Stella, bond and determined to enjoy her vacation she had planned and the unexpected guest just makes it that much more interesting. Stella didn’t want to waste the time she had wishing she had taken a chance with Brooks, she wanted them both to just have a good time and she could do a fling, for 2 weeks…right?
Brooks, wow why didn’t I know Liv had a sister? He saw her for the first time in a towel and knew he was getting more out of this vacation than just sun. Living in Miami and her in Tallahassee, he knew they could not be anything so he ignored her advances, well until he couldn’t anymore.
They did the whole friends with benefits and it worked great for them both until it was time to go their separate ways. This book kept me on the edge of my seat hoping that this was not just a fling!
A.K. Evans did an incredible job writing about Stella and Brooks but Aaron Shedlock and Rachel Leblang narrating the two characters, that was heart thumping along with goosebumps! These two do an amazing job with the characters and can literally make you believe they are both Brooks and Stella without a doubt!
