It was cute

The fake relationship trope is predictable but this book was a fun read! Sybil did annoy me sometimes but overall still fun the talk about adhd in woman makes sense as to Sybil’s character.

As someone who cares so much, and decisions backfire on me, this one hit home and just made me feel seen. The pressure from family as well.

Aye pobresita Sybil.

I just felt so bad for her. It was like no matter what she did and how great her intentions were everything was just always messed up and her family constantly came at her sideways and once it got to be too much eventually, her sister would intervene. I just feel for characters like that because it’s just extremely heartbreaking. I really enjoyed the story. I thought it was very cute and it took a bit of a lighter tone than the other books by Denise Williams. Kieran was such an amazing character, and I felt bad for him too because he just carried the weight of the world on his shoulders and he just wanted to fix everything and make everything perfect but at the same time he was denying himself happiness. I listened to this via audiobook, and the narration was absolutely top-tier on both parts. Definitely a cute story and a cute read and I would highly recommend it for someone that wants something feel good with just a touch of spice.

the story is cute but it was a bit cheesy and predictable. the naration was lacking depth.

I loved how it took the two lead characters to complete the missing part of each other's lives without each ever even knowing they needed it.

lacked heat for an adult relationship. but fun read. Also not sure if this is really a bwwm book.

Such a cute story

I was kind of worried it would be one of those slow burns but I really enjoyed this story. All the characters were likable in their on ways and I hope we get some follow ups for Marcus and Lira and Deacon and his military friend’s sister!

ADHD, really?

The ending fell flat. Why did the author bring that in so late in the book?

I loved this book I did not want to stop listening! All the characters were super relatable. I hope there is some sort of sequel on how the remainder of the other friends and family member are because they all had a very good story that you could grow on
