Poor Editing

This was a good book but the editing is a mess. Multiple chapter repeats. What a pain

Loved it!

Dash is a rockstar manwhore who has a different groupie is in his bed nightly. Now that he sees how two brothers and sister settling down he yearns for that as well and knows he needs to change his ways.
Cassidy is the assistant and best friend to Sasha and moved to the east coast to work with her once her production company starts.
Dash had slept with Cassidy but by the next morning had left her and she was wounded. She felt that he had abandoned her like a lot of people in her life. When he realized that he had feelings for her she wanted to have nothing to do with him. After a groupie had accused Dash of being the father of her unborn baby he new he had to get his life straight. When his PR person suggested that he and Cassidy pretend to be dating to make him look like a changed man he jumped at the chance. This way he could show her he had changed.
I am in love with the Kingston Family. I can’t want to listen to the other books in the series. The way Carly writes makes you feel that you are right there in the room while listening to the story.

Serious problem with the recording

There is a serious problem with the recordings, chapter 7 on the list of chapters, said it was chapter 12, according to the recording. The last four or five chapters and the epilogue are scrambled, and I don’t think I ever got to the end of the book.

Chapters repeated and finale in the middle

Chapters are numbered wrong. The chapters from the middle to the end were read out of order and repeated.

Recording issue

The story was great. The readers are great however several of the chapters are repeated and I’m not sure if they were supposed to or if there were some chapters that were omitted hard to know without a hard copy of the book in your hand. It was a great story I hope I didn’t miss anything from the editing faux pas. And the sad thing was is this was a book that we had to pay for that was not included in our membership

Terrible Editing

As mentioned by others, the editing on this particular book is terrible. If you get to the end of the audiobook, don’t close out!! The book continued back at Chapter 10 to the end. It was all just very odd.

As for the story, I’m currently on a Carly Phillips binge at the moment. I’ve read all her Dare Family books along with all the other accompanying Family series as well. These books and stories are light and easy reads. I actually like this particular book. Some of three family stories repeat and the characters are so similar that they tend to blend together. Sisters with 3 brothers, she’s an interior designer, rockstar brother, the loss of a twin, terrible non-existent fathers, older brothers taking over the family… you’d think I was only talking about one family’s story, but oddly enough, I’m not. However this particular story is was a nice change and I enjoyed it. I’m definitely interested in reading the rest I’d the series, probably for my own obsession with finishing a series than for the need to find out what happens to the characters. These are supposed to be lighthearted and sexy stories, and they definitely reach those goals!

All of the chapters aren’t here and there is multiple repeated chapters! This is very disappointing

The recording for this is out of order!! It’s upsetting that I paid for it! Buyer beware

Stop listening

Beautiful story. The story ends at the end of chapter 9. Listening beyond is only a repeat of chapters 7,8 & 9.

A touching romance, with references to drug use.

A romantic comedy/drama which touched on serious consequences related to the use of drugs. Family and friendship are key themes throughout. Dash is the last Kingston brother to meet his forever partner. I can't wait to here their half sister Aurora and Nick's story, and the novella where Cassidy's brother Axel has a second chance at romance.
