Really sweet and entertaining story. Great narration by Kale Williams. love Felice Steven's writing. thoroughly enjoyed this story.

Kale was great and it was a wonderfully written story, full of love, steam, family issues will not being angsty.

I liked this book very interesting with a lot of hot sex scenes lol. They were magic together I really enjoy their story.

Enjoyable Listen

I really enjoyed the way Arden and Madden navigated their almost instant connection despite both having their own hang ups and family issues. Though there was some steam to these two the real foundation of their relationship even with how it started was how much these two previously closed off people could open up to eachother. I would have liked a bit more closure with the aunt but overall I still enjoyed it. Also the narration is top notch, I’ve become a fan of Kale Williams from recently listening to a couple stories he’s done and he did an excellent job. Enjoyable listen!

Really Good!

Kale Williams was the perfect narrator for these two men. Madden and Archer were so perfect for each other. While they started out as a business arrangement they became more, realizing they were meant to be. I really loved the communication in this book. They were open, honest, and mature. We didn't have a lot of drama, just things that needed to be figured out but they did it together. We had a ton of heat! They spent a lot of time exploring each other and it was smoking hot. There was also a fabulous cast of family and friends that really added to the story.

One of the Best Books I've Ever Listened to

Felice truly outdid herself with this book! Believable plot, lovable characters, no cheating, and a swoon worthy happily ever after. The relationship between the two MC's has a solid build up. Kale does a perfect job of bringing the characters to life and distinguishing between them. This is one of the best books I have listened to. Highly recommend!

Go ahead, you should read this one!

I have been on the struggle bus as of late, reading one MM romance after another where it is all fluffy filler and nonsense. While this book has a bit of both, Stevens does something seemingly unheard of - she focuses on the story. Yes, there are overlapping characters that we will see in other books, but she doesn't give them center stage, or shamelessly plug other books here. We really get this messy romance between a high price rent boy and lonely real estate developer. The slow burn approach is a pleasant surprise, with all the other troubles used very well to propel the plot forward.

Kale Williams is a top tier narrator, he reads one of my favorites, Riley Hart's Risk The Fall. I wished for a 1/2 star option as I heard too much of those characters in this book, where I haven't noticed that with him before. Regardless, he is wonderfully thoughtful voice actor who navigates a wide range of genders and ages well.

So much about this plot should have been a complete joke, too often prostitution is handled poorly. Archer is presented as someone who is comfortable in his skin, he knows who he is, and what he does. His journey is not filled with self regret and judgement. It was very refreshing to not force sex workers into the negative light from the start. That said, there are some things that need to overlooked to make all this work. Archer is very removed anything that feels gritty as a $10K a night rent boy. Stevens smartly keeps Archer initially aloof, so we see that he is this rarified creature. You believe that he controls the situation and see why he commands his price.

Some elements of the story, dollar amounts and business dealings are massaged to make points of the story flow. Stevens don't break out of the world she created up. so the balance remains intact. Where Stevens sets herself apart is that she is willing to make her men emotional. All the cowboy and military themed books where the MCs have to stay within a rigid emotional framework removes them from reality. These guys seem more real because we know their hurts and they let others see them as they are, and that is refreshing. Do I wish it wasn't another billionaire? Of course, that's really tiresome. But this is done as right as it can be.

Absolutely recommended!

Repetitive and predictable

Kale Williams is the only reason I gave this story an overall 3 stars. The sex scenes were incredibly hot, but the rest was just so repetitive.
Not a single chapter passed without someone drinking wine, someone's eyes "twinkling" or "sparkling", and Archer changing his mind about something.
The attempts at angst were weak and came across as predictable and even frustrating at times.

It was overall disappointing.
