Totally entertaining

This is one of the cutest, funniest, well written rom- com’s I have listened to in a while. I was immediately invested in the storyline and the characters. Cannot wait to read more in this series.

Loved it!

This book was super cute! It's a fun, flirty story with a great story line and very loveable characters. Brooks and Mackenzie are the perfect couple. They're both so hilariously awkward that you can't help but root for them and want to make sure they make it.

Mackenzie was a really fun character. I loved how she embraced her quirky side and she didn't apologize for it. I will say that after a while the chip on her shoulder she had about her dads got to be a little too much. It got to a point where I was like "we get it, you were teased about them, let's move on..." It was the same with her superstitions, but I looked over that because that's basically the whole premise of the book. Those are the reasons I ended up knocking off a star.

I absolutely loved Brooks! He was a GREAT character. His frustration with not losing his virginity had me cracking up. I loved how obsessed he was with Mackenzie from the beginning. Every time she was in the room he forgot about everyone else and it was just so sweet. Once they got together it was explosive, but still nutty.

The narrators were good, as usual. While Andi Arndt isn't my *favorite* narrator, I do think she does a great job and I never mind her narration. I think I've finally figured out that it's her semi-lack of annunciation that bothers me. Her voice itself is great, though. And Jacob Morgan has always been a favorite of mine. His voice is sexy and he performs exceedingly well!

The story overall was really fun. I liked the side characters, but I will say that there were SO many that I had a hard time keeping track of who was who and who was with whom. It was a little distracting. That being said, this book had zero angst, but a lot of heart. It was a blast to listen to and I'm looking forward to re-listening to it in the future.

Adorable and funny!

I love this author. I literally laugh out loud through the entire book. I have to have one of those dog collars. ROFL Andi and Jacob are two of my favs and they did an amazing job as always. Sweet love story with a fair amount of heat! Go for it!!!
