Cute

Very cute story. Fun characters with a bit of old west action and a dash of sci-fi for flavor. I would love to read more of the adventures of these boys.

Cute Time Travel Adventure

I had read the book a while ago, and then listened to this audio version. Perie Wolford writes cute, fluffy gay stories that are great for an afternoon or evening to get away from it all and enjoy.

Jimmy is a young twenty-something gay guy from our time. Trying to solve a riddle left by his father, he is thrust back in time to the old west in the year 1871. He finds himself with a gang of rustlers who capture him. The youngest of the gang, Kit, feels bad for Jimmy and brings him food. They get to talking and Jimmy discovers that Kit is gay, but has never acted on it. The two become lovers and Kit helps Jimmy get away from the rustlers. The ending is left so that there could be a sequel.

J.E. Jones, the narrator, was quite good. He brought these characters to life and made the whole listen very enjoyable.

Fun time travel/old west/sci-fi adventure

I enjoyed this short listen, but I wanted more background on Jimmy and his time travel device, I really liked Jimmy's fearlessness and unconcern with the dangerous and unpleasant situations he found himself in. I was a little disappointed in his treatment of Kit once the tables were turned on the outlaws. I would have expected him to be a little nicer, since Kit had shown him some kindness. I enjoyed this light-hearted adventure, but I did not care for the musical bridges. They distracted from the story.

Great story!

The author seemed a little overly descriptive about the urination practices of multiple characters. A little odd to me but other than that totally worth the listen. I look forward to the next chapter.

Really cool adventure/ romance.

I enjoyed this book. It was different for me and I'm glad i took the time to check it out. It had a good storyline and the narrator did a great job on the characters.
