Ignore James, the writer fought racism

When Michael Ende died in 1995, the estate he left behind included writings and notes that showed the author was fervently anti-racist and critically examined the racial ideology of the National Socialists. This spirit is reflected in Jim's adventures, where he and his companions help outsiders and underdogs during their travels.

Racist Language

This audio book is in German and freely makes use of the German word for nigger (Neger). This is entirely unacceptable. No one should be exposed to and make use of that kind of language anymore. It promotes racist language and with that a racist view of the world. Very disappointing! I should have known from the cover that shows a picture of a black child with exaggerate thick lips which is a racist depiction of African Americans from the past. Will not finish listening to this book.
