Publisher's Summary

The internationally recognized Bible teacher and daughter of Billy Graham unpacks key biblical truths wrapped in personal insights to reveal how the presence of the Holy Spirit shapes the daily life of a Jesus follower.

In Jesus in Me, Anne Graham Lotz draws on her rich biblical knowledge as well as her personal story - including her recent cancer diagnosis - to help us understand that the Holy Spirit is not a magic genie, a flame of fire, or a vague feeling. He is a person who prays for us, guides us in our relationships and decisions, comforts us in pain, and stays by our side at all times. In this seminal teaching, she explores seven key aspects of the Holy Spirit that will revolutionize how you understand and relate to this vital third person in the Trinity.

As Anne writes, "One of my deepest, richest joys has been discovering by experience who the Holy Spirit is in every step of my life's journey. Each name that He has been given - Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, and Standby - reveals another aspect of His beautiful character and has provoked in me a deep love for the One who is my constant Companion...Jesus in me."

Discover how to better love and rely on the person of the Holy Spirit - and embrace how much he loves you.

Critic Reviews

“Fifteen years ago, I sat in an arena with thousands of other women as Anne Graham Lotz expounded on the person and power of the Holy Spirit. Every word was like a lit match catching fire in my soul. Since then, I’ve gotten an up-close, personal look at Anne’s relationship with the Spirit of God. She walks with Him, listens to Him, and rests on His power to fulfill the Father’s purposes for her. The truths that she has taught me - and that she now shares with you in this book - have come not just from deep study but also from the personal experience of a woman who has learned the rhythms of grace through a lifetime of faithfulness.” (Priscilla Shirer, Bible teacher and author)

“This book is a genuine treasury of wisdom that can be attained only through a life of walking with God and being led by His Holy Spirit. I am thrilled Anne Graham Lotz has walked this walk so that she can talk this talk for our benefit! This is about the only way to fully live the life for which we were each created. Read it and rejoice!” (Eric Metaxas, number one New York Times best-selling author of Bonhoeffer and Miracles

“One of the things I’ve always appreciated about Anne Graham Lotz is her passionate desire to pursue God and know Him intimately. In this recent season of suffering, Anne has learned some profound lessons and experienced the Holy Spirit as her constant companion, comforter, and friend. The result is her new book, Jesus in Me. I highly recommend it.” (Greg Laurie, senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship)

Food for the Soul

I have never read a book by Anne Graham Lotz, and technically I still haven't, although I listened to Jesus in Me on Audible. I must say that this was one of the most engaging, doctrinally sound, heart piercing books I've ever encountered. First off, there's something about Anne's voice that kept me coming back for more. I listen to Christian audio-books on my way to and from work and I couldn't WAIT to get in the car to start my commute with Anne. She has a way of telling Biblical truths with honesty and she shares a lot from personal experience. She gave me even more of a desire to walk more closely with God and have an up close and personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. Her words gave me the push I needed to KNOW that I've not even begun to serve Christ in the way that I should be. However, she did all of this with scripture, profound prayer and engaging personal experiences. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to download another of her profound insights. God has blessed her in a mighty way and although she knows that, she doesn't come off as pompous or full of pride. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Thank you, Anne, for sharing your words with us.

Great Book on the Holy Spirit

It's an easy read, but packed with good, often overlooked, info on the Holy Spirit with compelling personal experiences! It certainly inspired me to pursue a closer walk with God through his Spirit and more actively consider his many roles in my life.

All Titles of Jesus

This is the third attempt that i had in reading this book. I was originally given the book as a pretend before publication, but our son was placed in hospice and died shortly thereafter. I was one of his caregivers. Reading this book now blows me away. I can see myself in every chapter, and see the Master at work everyday and everywhere. I would love to just sit down with Mrs Lotz with a cup of tea and share our how Jesus helped us through all of our experiences, both good and hard. However I know it isn't her, it is Jesus. It is the Holy Spirit that led her to write this book. It ministered to me, and I pray that it ministers to others.

This is not going Going Deeper

I got this book because it was at the bottom of each of the chapters to Jesus and Me the Bible Study to be studied in a group. It was listed as “Going Deeper“, and indicated where to go to in the book at the end of each chapter. Unfortunately this is not going deeper. This book would be much better presented as “Jesus in Me. an Introduction to the Holy Spirit”.
Perhaps because I was expecting better correlations of the Holy Spirit -About His presence, who he is, His Power- there are MUCH more and better scriptures describing Him that I thought for sure would be here but were not.

Anne really opened my eyes to realizing the Holy Spirit has been in me my whole walk with Christ I just never knew what it was. Somehow along my Christian journey the Holy Spirit never clicked in my brain. Boy did this book change my life forever and opened my eyes to that voice in my head. It was always him.... thankful that I learned this so that I can teach my children as they grow! Will read again and have recommended to everyone!

a book not to be rushed

As in all of Anne's books, this one is both biblical and personal. Anne leads us on a journey of who the Holy Spirit is, what His job is and how much He longs to help us. Whether you're a new christian or (like me) one who has walked with God for many years, this book will encourage and refresh you.
