Carter Marshall has loved Roxie since the first time he saw her. But as the days pass between them, so does the distance. He doesn’t know how to show her that he’s all in, and honestly doesn’t know if she’s in at all. When an accident changes everything, they’ll have to decide if what they have can be salvaged, or if starting over is the answer. Or even possible.

Without fighting, without a true new beginning, sometimes, the remnants of what was lost can leave anyone jagged, shells of what they were before. It will take more than the idea of forever for Roxie and Carter to find themselves again, but as the Montgomerys know, nothing worth fighting for is easy.

Not for me.

I’ll start by saying Joe Arden is one of my favorite narrators. However, this book just goes on, and on, and on, about the same thing and it gets tiresome. Even Joe Arden couldn’t save it for me.

By the end you just don’t feel the “spark” and I was mostly right guessing what the root of the big problem was. It left me feeling “meh.”

Don’t let my less than stellar review keep you from listening to the book as what works for me might be different from what works for you.

Like I said, this book was just not for me.

Great family series...

This one was a difficult book... we spent so much time trying to guess what was actually wrong and rushed the reconnection on this book. it was truly sad for over way too many chapters. this was my least favorite of the series as if the issues were actually being discussed but that was also rushed at the end.
