In this #1 New York Times bestseller from the world’s most popular storyteller, join Alex Cross in a heart-stopping thrill ride as he pieces together the clues of two gruesome murders—before it’s too late.

Inspiration for the heart-pounding Prime Video show, Cross.

In the middle of the night, a controversial U.S. senator is found murdered in bed in his Georgetown pied-a-terre. The police turn up only one clue: a mysterious rhyme signed "Jack and Jill" promising that this is just the beginning. Jack and Jill are out to get the rich and famous, and they will stop at nothing until their fiendish plan is carried out.

Meanwhile, Washington, D. C. homicide detective Alex Cross is called to a murder scene only blocks from his house, far from the corridors of power where he spends his days. The victim: a beautiful little girl, savagely beaten and deposited in front of the elementary school Cross's son attends. No one in Washington is safe-not children, not politicians, not even the President of the United States. Only Alex Cross has the skills and the courage to crack the case, but will he discover the truth in time?

A relentless roller coaster of heart-stopping suspense and jolting plot twists, Jack and Jill proves that no one can write a more compelling thriller than James Patterson, the master of the nonstop nightmare.

Would you consider the audio edition of Jack and Jill to be better than the print version?

No

What was one of the most memorable moments of Jack and Jill?

I hated that I didn't get the full story

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have definitely listened to it in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

I would suggest anyone wanting to read a James Patterson book to buy it or check it out of the library, he is notorious for never having unabridged audio books available. I will never waste my money on another of his audio books.

Shame on James Patterson

Probably not the very best James Paterson book, but still very entertaining. An enjoyable read.

Very good

I usually am not a fan of unabridged versions of books, but this one is an exception. I felt like I was listening to a radio show production of the book. it entertained me on my commute. Good story, a suspensful who dunnit.

Entertaining Listen

For me this wasn't as good as other Alex Cross however I realize it goes back. Still a good "on the edge of you seat" suspense moments.

Love Alex Cross!
